Description

Build and maintain front-to-back microservices within a financial services environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop full-stack microservices using Python, Java, and Node.js.
• Gather technical requirements from traders, quants, and IT teams.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and coverage.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce SOLID principles and development best practices.
• Deploy and manage applications within AWS and Kubernetes environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, and Node.js.
• Experience with Spring framework and JavaScript/HTML.
• Practical knowledge of microservices architecture and orchestration patterns.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Competency in both Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with OpenAPI and Swagger standards.
• Ability to perform full-stack development.

Preferred Skills

• Financial industry domain knowledge.
• Experience using Confluence for documentation.
