Description

You will modernize on-premises applications to AWS by building data ingestion, storage, and API services.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Load data from EMS, Kafka, and batch files into data stores.
• Develop and maintain APIs and search services using Elasticsearch and OpenSearch.
• Manage data persistence across DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, and Aurora.
• Implement data publishing workflows using Kafka.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience.
• Expert proficiency in Python.
• Experience with AWS services: API Gateway, Route 53, CloudWatch, VPC.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and event streaming.
• Familiarity with NoSQL and search technologies: DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, OpenSearch.
• Proficiency in building RESTful services.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Aurora deployments.
