Description

Build and maintain data-driven backend solutions using Python and AWS infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable backend services using Python, FastAPI, Pandas, NumPy, and PySpark.
• Deploy and manage serverless applications using AWS Lambda, Step Functions, and API Gateway.
• Orchestrate containerized workloads on AWS using Docker, ECS, EKS, and Fargate.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, CodeDeploy, and CodeCommit.
• Ensure data integrity across RDS, Oracle, and Postgres databases.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python and the FastAPI framework.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services: S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, SDK, CLI, CloudFront, and CloudWatch.
• Proficiency with data processing libraries: Pandas, NumPy, and PySpark.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools: Docker, ECS, EKS, and Fargate.
• Knowledge of Java and relational databases, specifically Oracle and Postgres.
• Experience with build tools such as Gradle, Maven, or Ant.
• Proficiency with version control systems: Git or SVN.
• Experience with EMR and ESB.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Associate or Professional certification.
• Experience using Fortify for code coverage.
