Description

You will build and maintain scalable, secure backend services using Python and the Django framework.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable applications using Python Django.
• Architect system components and optimize backend services and database schemas.
• Ensure code quality by writing comprehensive unit and integration tests and participating in code reviews.
• Collaborate across Product, DevOps, QA, and Frontend teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Drive performance improvements and troubleshoot production issues, applying domain knowledge in payments and finance.

Required Skills

• 6 to 10 years of professional backend development experience with Python and Django.
• Strong background in payments/financial systems or FinTech applications.
• Proven experience designing software architecture in microservices or modular monolith environments.
• Experience with RESTful API development.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Working knowledge of Apache Kafka and Redis.
