Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and database schemas using Python and Django.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect system components and optimize backend services for performance and reliability.
• Design and develop scalable applications using Python Django in microservices or modular monolith environments.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with Product, DevOps, QA, and Frontend teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive performance improvements, applying domain knowledge in payments and finance.

Required Skills

• 6 to 10 years of professional backend development experience with Python and Django.
• Strong background in payments, financial systems, or FinTech applications.
• Proven experience designing software architecture in microservices or modular monolith environments.
• Experience with RESTful API development.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Working knowledge of Apache Kafka and Redis.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with domain knowledge in payments and finance.
