Senior Python Engineer for Charlotte, NC. You build scalable applications from the ground up using Python and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain highly scalable core Python applications.
• Design system architecture and articulate technical concepts for rationalization.
• Execute complex SQL data analytics tasks and queries.
• Integrate frontend ReactJS interfaces with backend services.
• Collaborate on deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience building applications from scratch.
• Core Python, SQL, and Bash scripting proficiency.
• Experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI web frameworks.
• ReactJS and JavaScript for frontend integration.
• Version control with GitHub and Azure DevOps.
• Strong system design and architectural reasoning skills.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Azure Databricks (PySpark, notebooks, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog).
• Knowledge of Azure components (Functions, App Service, Containers).
• Financial domain knowledge, specifically Risk Management.
