Description

You will build and maintain backend systems, writing production code from scratch and ensuring high quality through testing and engineering best practices.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Write production-grade Python code without reliance on generative AI.
• Develop and implement data processing pipelines using Pandas and NumPy.
• Implement REST APIs to fetch and send data to external services.
• Handle data cleaning, preprocessing, grouping, and aggregation tasks.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing and adherence to engineering best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python, including OOP, generators, and list comprehensions.
• Expertise in data manipulation using Pandas and NumPy.
• Solid understanding of SQL for data querying and management.
• Experience with version control using Git.
• Ability to write modular, reusable code with proper documentation.
• Familiarity with HTTP protocols for REST API interaction.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building interactive dashboards using Plotly Dash.
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS for front-end integration.
