Description

Build, test, and deploy RESTful microservices and shared service components for a large-scale software application platform using Python and AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design technical solutions and write production-grade Python code for the application's middle layer.
• Develop and support RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Automate testing and deployment processes to ensure reliability.
• Implement components for a large-scale software application platform.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of total professional software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of experience specifically with Python and AWS.
• Deep proficiency in Python for writing production software, not just scripting.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Expertise in testing frameworks including Pytest and Unittest.
• Knowledge of testing tools such as Monkey patch and pytest-mockito.
• Experience with the FastAPI framework.

Preferred Skills

• Practical experience with AWS Lambda.
• Experience implementing AWS Step Functions.
