Description

You will design and build platform engineering solutions using Python and Infrastructure as a Service tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop platform engineering tools and automation using Python.
• Manage continuous delivery and integration frameworks, including deployment automation and configuration management.
• Maintain source code repositories and build/test/release infrastructure using Git and Jenkins.
• Administer Linux systems and network infrastructure including load balancers, VLANs, and firewalls.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software engineering experience using Python.
• 8+ years of experience building automation or configuration management infrastructure with Ansible, Terraform, Chef, or Puppet.
• 6+ years of experience deploying production code using Docker containers.
• 3+ years of experience in Java, Perl, or Ruby.
• Proficiency with Linux administration and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP).
• Experience with cloud services, specifically AWS or Azure (IaaS and PaaS).
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems such as Java/Spring Boot, CQRS, event streaming, Kafka, or Spark.
• Experience supporting LDAP services in enterprise environments.
• Experience leveraging Docker within local development workflows.
