You will lead the architectural design and delivery of scalable, secure Python-based systems while mentoring a team of engineers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end solutions for high performance, reliability, and operational excellence.
• Define clear service boundaries, robust interfaces, and well-documented APIs for system integration.
• Enforce Python coding standards, conduct rigorous design/code reviews, and provide technical mentorship.
• Implement comprehensive observability including monitoring, logging, and tracing for production support.
• Align technical strategy with business objectives and data flow requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on Python development and software engineering experience.
• Proven track record in technical leadership, architectural design, and distributed systems.
• Strong command of software architecture principles, design patterns, and RESTful API design.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of modern data platforms, data modeling, and ETL processes.
• Understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience within the financial services or asset management industry.
