Description

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Python / Machine Learning Engineer to join a distributed engineering team building scalable backend services, machine learning infrastructure, and AI-enabled applications.

This is a highly autonomous, hands-on engineering role focused on Python, FastAPI, AWS, SageMaker, and production ML infrastructure, with exposure to LLMs, data engineering, and cloud-native technologies.
 

 Core Requirements
Advanced Python development experience with strong backend/API development skills
Hands-on experience with FastAPI and asynchronous programming in Python
Production experience with AWS cloud services and familiarity with Microsoft Azure
Experience developing, deploying, and scaling ML inference services using AWS SageMaker Endpoints
Strong experience with pytest for automated unit testing
Experience with Git and modern source-control workflows
Experience working with data in AWS S3, including Parquet, JSON, and CSV
Strong PostgreSQL and SQL skills
Experience using Pandas for data manipulation and processing
Strong ability to work independently, solve technical challenges, and take ownership of engineering initiatives
Effective communication skills and experience working with distributed/remote engineering teams
 

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, deploy, and scale Python backend services and APIs
Build asynchronous applications using Python and FastAPI
Develop reliable, scalable, and maintainable production services
Design and implement cloud solutions using AWS, with exposure to Azure
Develop and scale ML inference services using AWS SageMaker Endpoints
Contribute to technical solution design and architecture
Work with AWS S3, PostgreSQL, SQL, Pandas, Parquet, JSON, and CSV
Manage source code and collaborative development using Git
Independently own JIRA stories, engineering tasks, and initiatives
Troubleshoot technical challenges with minimal supervision and proactively drive solutions
