Description

You will manage quality assurance practices, test plans, and assessments for various software environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement QA procedures, test plans, and assessments.
• Create manual and automated test plans using diverse tool sets.
• Perform proof of concepts for web-based technology automation, XML verification, and ETL tools.
• Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate user requirements.
• Travel to client locations across the United States for short or long-term system setups.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in QA analysis or engineering.
• Proficiency with Java, J2EE, JSP, and Struts.
• Experience with JavaScript and UML.
• Strong database knowledge including DB2, Oracle, and Teradata.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Mainframe, and ETL processes.
• Ability to work with Unix and shell scripting.
• Experience using Selenium, Win Runner, Load Runner, or Silk.
• Familiarity with Rational Suite and SQA tools.
• Knowledge of XML verification and .NET applications.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Informatica, SAS, Ab Initio, or DataStage.
• Knowledge of Amazon RedShift, Hive, or SQL Server.
