Description

You will own the automated testing lifecycle for web and backend applications, ensuring high coverage and reliability.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test suites for web and backend applications.
• Design and build scalable test harnesses and infrastructure for efficient automated testing.
• Integrate automation testing into CI/CD pipelines to support frequent, incremental code releases.
• Automate comprehensive end-to-end test scenarios across frontend and backend systems using OOP principles.
• Take ownership of requirement analysis, test plan creation, automation development, and defect analysis.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in QA automation with Java in an enterprise environment.
• Proficiency in web automation using Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
• Experience with BDD frameworks, specifically Cucumber.
• Experience with Rest Assured for backend API testing.
• Solid understanding of core Java programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Proven experience working within Agile/Scrum teams.
• In-depth knowledge of testing strategies including functional, integration, regression, and database testing.
