Description

Drive automation strategy and CI/CD pipelines for retail e-commerce applications using Java, TypeScript, and Playwright.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain modern web automation suites using Playwright with TypeScript and in-house BDD frameworks.
• Design and execute API testing strategies using Rest Assured, Spring Boot, and Postman.
• Configure CI/CD pipelines and orchestrate workflows using Bamboo, Jenkins, and Argo Workflows.
• Develop custom internal utility tools and basic UIs using HTML and Thymeleaf.
• Monitor system behavior, analyze logs, and troubleshoot issues using Grafana Logs.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of QA experience, strictly focused on automation engineering.
• Strong Java development background with deep experience in Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience writing automation suites in TypeScript using Playwright.
• Expert-level knowledge of BDD frameworks including Cucumber and JBehave.
• Proficiency in TestNG and Rest Assured for functional and API testing.
• Advanced proficiency in GIT, Postman, and Grafana Logs.
• Deep understanding of retail ecosystem processes and e-commerce stacks.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with AI agents and Model Context Protocol (MCP) server environments.
• Experience collaborating across global onsite and offshore teams.
