Description

You will lead testing efforts for web-based products by designing automation frameworks and managing the full testing lifecycle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automation scripts and frameworks from scratch using open-source tools.
• Create detailed test plans, identify test cases, and execute regression testing to validate bug fixes.
• Perform UI and functional automation using Selenium, alongside API automation via Rest Assured.
• Manage the end-to-end defect lifecycle, prioritizing bugs by severity and tracking quality metrics like defect density.
• Conduct load testing and evaluate the gap between functional specifications and implementation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in testing web-based products.
• Proven experience developing automation frameworks from the ground up.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium for UI/Functional automation.
• Proficiency in API automation using Rest Assured.
• Experience performing load testing with open-source tools.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
• Practical knowledge of TFS or Jira for defect tracking.
• Ability to estimate, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities within a release cycle.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of stress and performance testing.
