Description

Design, implement, and stabilize automation tests while driving a shift-left and automation-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automation scripts and exploratory tests to ensure product quality.
• Create detailed test plans and cases in Azure DevOps to ensure coverage for features and user stories.
• Estimate, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities for in-sprint, regression, and release cycles.
• Mentor colleagues in automation practices and participate in all agile ceremonies.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional QA Engineering experience with a background as an SDET.
• Strong expertise in test automation frameworks such as WebdriverIO, Selenium, Playwright, or Cucumber.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: JavaScript, Java, or Python.
• Experience building and enhancing automation for Angular, React, APIs, SOAP, and microservices.
• Solid SQL knowledge with the ability to write queries against relational databases like Oracle or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with in-sprint automation and version control using GIT.
• Strong understanding of JSON and XML data formats.
• Ability to facilitate communication between business and technology teams in both English and Spanish.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with performance or security testing.
• Experience working within cloud platforms such as AWS or OCI.
