Description

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Playwright automation frameworks.
• Execute and enhance automated UI, API, and end-to-end test suites.
• Perform manual, exploratory, regression, and integration testing.
• Review requirements and create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to ensure quality objectives are met.
• Investigate defects, perform root cause analysis, and validate fixes.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support release readiness.
• Mentor junior team members and promote quality engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA experience, including both manual and automation testing.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Playwright.
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, or C#.
• Experience testing modern web applications and REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of test design techniques, exploratory testing, and defect management.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Proficiency in SQL and backend data validation.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Playwright Test Runner, Page Object Model, fixtures, parallel execution, and API testing.
• Knowledge of Test Pyramid, Shift-Left Testing, BDD, Contract Testing, and E2E testing strategies.
• Exposure to performance, accessibility, and security testing.
• Experience mentoring QA engineers and contributing to testing strategy.
• ISTQB or other relevant testing certifications
