Description

You will own the QA automation strategy, focusing on migrating existing Selenium tests to Playwright and building robust frameworks for web and mobile applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Migrate legacy Selenium (Java) test suites to Playwright using JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web (Playwright) and mobile (Appium) platforms.
• Implement API testing strategies using RestAssured and Playwright API tools.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Manage test execution environments using Docker and Selenium Grid, including SQL validation.

Required Skills

• 4 to 5 years of experience with Selenium and Java.
• 3 to 4 years of experience with Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript).
• 3 to 4 years of experience with Appium for mobile automation.
• 3 to 4 years of experience leading Selenium to Playwright migration projects.
• Strong background in API testing using RestAssured or Playwright.
• Proficiency in CI/CD integration with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Docker, Selenium Grid, and SQL validation.
• Familiarity with Jira and test management tools like Zephyr, Xray, or TestRail.

Preferred Skills

• Experience transitioning from manual to automation testing processes.
• Agile/Scrum experience in a distributed team environment.
