Description

Lead automation testing efforts and design strategies to improve testing speed and accuracy in Toronto, ON.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation test strategies covering functional, security, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Build, maintain, and execute automation test scripts and frameworks to increase coverage.
• Lead test script design, perform code reviews, and ensure coverage for integration and release phases.
• Implement and improve automation frameworks following best practices and governance standards.
• Track test progress and develop dashboards to report results to stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software implementation experience, preferably in transformation projects.
• 2+ years in a Test Automation Lead or Automation Tester role.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Python, or C#.
• Extensive experience with Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress, or HP UFT.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using MS Azure, AWS, Jenkins, or Google Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with version control tools such as GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
• Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr.
• Deep understanding of testing methodologies and the SDLC.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or Engineering.
