You will lead the transition from manual testing to a scalable, automated framework for our products.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute automated testing strategies, converting manual processes into efficient, scalable frameworks.
• Architect and implement end-to-end, integration, and API tests using Playwright and Java or Python.
• Embed automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) to ensure rapid feedback and release reliability.
• Champion quality in architectural and design reviews, ensuring testability is built into the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with developers and DevOps to triage P0 bugs, resolve defects, and report on key quality metrics.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in QA Engineering, SDET, or related software development roles.
• Strong programming skills in Java or Python.
• Proven experience leading the transition from manual to automated testing cultures.
• Hands-on expertise with modern end-to-end testing frameworks, specifically Playwright.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Ability to lead technical discussions and advocate for quality initiatives in complex, matrixed organizations.
