Description

You will lead QA efforts across web applications, VS Code extensions, backend APIs, and AI tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA strategy, including sprint-level test planning, test case design, and execution.
• Own regression, smoke, and sanity testing across all environments and releases.
• Build and manage test automation pipelines for web and extension environments.
• Integrate QA tooling into CI/CD processes using GitHub Actions or similar.
• Manage bug triaging for hotfixes and major releases while tracking defect density and root cause metrics.
• Ensure all QA processes align with SOC 2 controls for release and change management.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in manual testing of web applications, APIs, and software tools.
• Proven experience in team management, including task allocation and mentoring.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium or similar automation frameworks.
• Proficiency in REST API testing using Postman or REST Assured.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, including smoke, sanity, and regression testing.
• Knowledge of SOC 2 compliance and quality assurance standards.
• Bachelor's Degree or any graduate degree in a related field.
