Description

You will lead QA strategy and execution for web applications, VS Code extensions, backend APIs, and AI tooling.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead sprint-level test planning, test case design, and execution across all products.
• Own regression, smoke, and sanity testing for every release and environment.
• Build and manage test automation pipelines using Selenium and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions.
• Manage bug triaging for hotfixes, tracking defect density and root cause metrics.
• Ensure QA processes align with SOC 2 controls for release and change management.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in manual testing of web applications and APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium or similar automation frameworks.
• Proficiency in REST API testing using Postman or REST Assured.
• Experience integrating QA tooling into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies including smoke, sanity, and regression testing.
• Proven experience in team management, task allocation, and mentoring.
• Knowledge of SOC 2 compliance and quality assurance standards.
• Bachelor's Degree or any graduate degree in a related field.
