Description

You will validate BI data pipelines and ensure data integrity across the ecosystem.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into detailed test cases in collaboration with Business Analysts and BI Developers.
• Validate data sources, extraction, transformation logic, and loading into target tables.
• Design, document, and execute test plans, scenarios, and scripts for manual and automated testing.
• Test code within ETL tools and validate resulting dashboards and reports on BI platforms.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, UAT, and performance testing.

Required Skills

• 4.5+ years of experience in QA Engineering focused on BI/Data Warehousing testing.
• Extensive experience writing and troubleshooting SQL queries across Snowflake, Redshift, SQL Server, or Oracle.
• Strong understanding of ETL Source to Target Mapping and Data Warehousing concepts, including Dimensional Modelling.
• Hands-on knowledge of SDLC and STLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, V-Model).
• Experience testing reports/dashboards in tools like Sisense, Tableau, or SAP Business Objects.
• Proficiency in using Jira or TFS for test case documentation and tracking.
• Experience with Python for creating automated test scripts.
• Familiarity with Black Box, Smoke, Functional, and End-to-End testing.
