Description

Own API and UI automation for distributed, event-driven systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test suites using JavaScript and Java with Selenium.
• Design automation frameworks for microservices and validate REST API data.
• Embed automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Apply AI-native quality engineering practices for test generation and self-healing.
• Execute performance and load testing within Agile teams.

Required Skills

• 4-7 years of quality engineering and test automation experience.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Java, and Selenium for UI automation.
• Experience with API automation frameworks (RestAssured, Karate, Postman/Newman).
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• SQL/NoSQL data validation skills.
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD environments.

Preferred Skills

• TypeScript, Playwright, or Cypress for UI automation.
• Contract testing (Pact, Spring Cloud Contract) and chaos testing.
• Cloud-native test infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP).
