Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive automation and  functional testing of web applications, ensuring alignment with business requirements and user expectations
• Design and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test plans for UI and backend services
• Conduct Web UI testing across browsers and devices to validate usability, responsiveness, and consistency
• Perform API and web services testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or similar platforms
• Validate end-to-end business workflows, including integration points between systems
• Identify, log, and track defects; perform root cause analysis and collaborate with development teams for resolution
• Participate in requirements analysis and grooming sessions, ensuring testability and clarity of acceptance criteria
• Support regression testing cycles and ensure stability of releases
• Contribute to test automation efforts by creating or maintaining automated test scripts where applicable (Playwright and Selenium)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product owners, and business stakeholders
• Use tools such as Jira and test management tools (Zephyr, Xray or similar) to manage test execution and defect tracking
• Promote QA best practices, process improvements, and quality standards across the team
• Document test strategies, test results, and quality metrics

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong emphasis on functional/manual testing
• Proven expertise in Web UI testing and API testing
• Strong experience with test case design, test planning, and execution
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, or similar
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC processes
• Experience working with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
• Working knowledge of automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or similar .
• Basic to intermediate programming/scripting knowledge (e.g., C#, TypeScript, or similar)
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar) is a plus
• Ability to translate functional requirements into effective test coverage
