Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Java-based API automation frameworks for microservices testing.
• Design test suites for REST APIs using REST Assured and validate requests/responses end-to-end.
• Use Postman for API exploration, test authoring, and troubleshooting across environments.
• Validate payment workflows and integrations in a retail banking context, including correctness, reliability, and regression coverage.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve testability, reduce flaky tests, and ensure consistent release readiness.

Skills Required:

• Java for building and maintaining API automation test suites.
• API automation experience with REST Assured and Postman for API validation.
• Microservices testing experience, including designing tests for service boundaries and integrations.
• Retail banking domain experience with payments testing across relevant payment flows.

Good to Have:

• Experience with accounts, cards, and transaction systems within retail banking payments.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.

• Master's Degree in Computer Science (preferred) and 7.5-11 years of relevant SDET/QA automation experience
