Description

You will lead quality assurance efforts for data ingestion and reporting pipelines.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and technical specifications to define test strategies and scenarios.
• Own and implement data quality checks across source, data warehouse, and reporting pipelines.
• Perform backend testing by creating, executing, and debugging SQL queries for data completeness and correctness.
• Create test data sets, scheduled extracts, and integrations within the data warehouse system.
• Define and track quality metrics, test cases, and defects using Jira.

Required Skills

• 6 to 8 years of software testing experience.
• Strong understanding of the software testing life cycle and development methodologies.
• Proficiency in SQL for backend data validation.
• Experience with ETL and Data Warehousing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with automation using Python or Java.
• Practical experience with Jira or similar test management and defect tracking tools.
• Strong manual testing and analytical skills.
