Job Description

Technical Requirements:

  • 6+ years’ experience in software QA – Functional and Automation.
  • 6+ years’ experience in Selenium Web Driver/Java with competent software engineering skills.
  • 6+ years’ experience of API testing using manual and automated processes.
  • 4+ years’ experience with REST Assured framework or similar.
  • 4+ years’ experience with relational databases such as MySQL or MSSQL.
  • 4+ years’ experience working within an agile software engineering team.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Deep knowledge of Functional, Performance, Regression, and Security test techniques and tools.
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and QA’s role within the SDLC.
  • Ability to estimate, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Previous experience working remotely with geographically, cross-functional teams.

Job Description:

  • Work within team composed of software engineers and product managers to define, document, and execute detailed automated and manual platform feature test scenarios.
  • Develop and execute tests for platform features and web service using functional requirements, technical specifications, and existing system behaviors and constraints.
  • Review product requirements for testability – highlight and propose design considerations that will make features easier to test via automation.
  • Actively participant in defect management and take ownership of software testing for a given project using functional and business requirements.
  • Maintain and enhance existing manual and automated regression test cases.
  • Participate in Scrum activities such as assisting developers, performing test case reviews and research spikes, and contributing to continuous improvement of testing standards.
  • Report software defects and track quality assurance metrics such as defect density, counts, and test coverage.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to execute and document multi-platform, end-to-end testing
