Description

You will ensure software quality by designing test plans, executing tests, and maintaining automated suites for PHP or Java applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create test data, set up test conditions, and execute test cases to validate functionality.
• Design and maintain automated test suites in PHP or Java that pass developer code review.
• Triage, identify, and track defects through resolution using Jira.
• Use SQL to validate data and diagnose issues, and perform API testing with Postman.
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to resolve issues and ensure end-to-end quality.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Proficiency in writing automated tests in PHP or Java.
• Strong SQL skills for data validation and issue diagnosis.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
• Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Ability to analyze requirements and create test cases that exercise edge cases.
• Experience working in a Linux command-line environment to check logs and deployments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
• General software development experience outside of writing automated test cases.
