Lead manual and automated testing for Java-based web applications in Newark, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement software quality assurance review processes.
• Execute functional, regression, and data-integrity testing for web-based applications.
• Perform SOAP and RESTful web service testing.
• Verify database integrity by executing SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Develop and manage short and long-term plans for organization-wide software quality needs.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of IT application experience including development, analysis, or QA.
• 8+ years of IT application testing experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a QA Lead capacity.
• Proficiency in Manual Testing and Web Application Testing.
• Experience testing JAVA web applications.
• Hands-on experience with SOAP and RESTful web services.
• Strong SQL skills for executing queries and stored procedures to validate relational database systems.
• Ability to create, execute, and manage test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.

Preferred Skills

• Experience testing PEGA web applications.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams.
• Expertise in database modeling and understanding database relationships.
