Develop and establish quality assurance standards, processes, and measurements for IT services.
Lead QA efforts for major application integrations and enterprise software releases.
Develop comprehensive test plans, test scripts, and test cases.
Track, document, and manage defects through resolution.
Partner with development, business, and technology teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
Gather and analyze data to support business cases, proposed projects, and system requirements.
Perform hands-on testing across software applications, information systems, and operational systems.
Utilize automated testing tools and reporting technologies to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
Analyze testing results and provide statistical and quality reporting.
Support project-based initiatives and contribute to project planning and execution.
Help identify opportunities to improve QA methodologies, processes, and standards.
Communicate testing status, risks, issues, and results to technical and business stakeholders.
Work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
Demonstrate strong commitment to professionalism, quality, and organizational values.
What We’re Looking For
10+ years of direct experience overseeing the design, development, and implementation of QA standards and software testing processes.
10+ years of experience serving as a lead tester for major application integrations and/or major software releases.
Strong understanding of software testing best practices, methodologies, and QA processes.
Extensive experience testing enterprise-level software applications.
Hands-on experience with:
Automated testing tools
Ad hoc query programs
Reporting and analytics software
Test planning and defect tracking tools
Experience with statistical reporting and analysis.
Strong project management skills and experience working within project-based environments.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong listening, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively in a high-pressure environment.
Proven ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Comfortable working with test planning, execution, and tracking tools.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous consulting experience.
Experience or familiarity with Informatica ETL/MDM.
Experience working with large, complex enterprise applications and integrations.
Education
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university or equivalent extensive experience in enterprise application testing, test planning, and execution
