Description

You will lead the quality assurance efforts for a large-scale legacy application modernization project involving industrial property tax systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and overall testing strategies for all phases.
• Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.
• Coordinate testing activities, including estimation, prioritization, and smoke testing of deployed solutions.
• Execute system, end-to-end, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Identify, document, and track bugs while performing regression testing after resolutions.
• Collaborate with BAs, SMEs, and developers to perform GAP analysis and understand functional and technical designs.
• Prepare detailed test summary reports and manage test data/pre-conditions in staging environments.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of experience in software development and software quality assurance.
• Hands-on experience with test automation and automated testing tools.
• Proficiency with Dynamics 3NA or equivalent platforms.
• Experience using Azure DevOps or equivalent tools for defect management and version control.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Expertise in both white box and black box testing techniques.
• Deep knowledge of QA terminology, methods, and processes.
• Proficiency in VBScript.
• Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience working with tax applications.
• Experience with Adobe Acrobat.
