Description

Lead automation efforts across web, API, and distributed systems to ensure software quality and reliability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automation scripts for web and API testing.
• Design and build modern automation frameworks from the ground up.
• Generate test cases from User Story Acceptance Criteria using BDD and TDD methodologies.
• Prepare test data, set up test environments, and manage test execution within Agile/Scrum workflows.
• Coordinate with clients and prepare detailed status reports on quality metrics.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in software test engineering or automation script development.
• 7+ years of professional programming experience in Java, C#, or JavaScript.
• 5+ years of experience automating WEB and API testing.
• 4+ years designing frameworks using Playwright, Cucumber, Cypress, Mocha, Chai, or Jest.
• 5+ years of experience with BDD/TDD, microservices, and distributed systems.
• 5+ years of experience in QA methodology and Agile/Scrum processes.
• Proficiency with JIRA/ADO, QTEST/XRay, and source control via GitLab/Bitbucket.
• Experience with CI/CD tools including GitLab, Jenkins, or Harness.
• Hands-on experience testing REST/SOAP services using Postman or SOAPUI.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Node, Docker, Kubernetes, or Serenity/SerenityJS.
• Familiarity with A/B testing, Blue/Green releases, Canary releases, or Feature flags.

Bachelor's degree in computer science.
