Description

You will own the automation framework for data warehousing and regression testing, ensuring data integrity between source and target systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain automated testing frameworks using Python and Azure components (Databricks, Notebooks, Functions, Data Factory).
• Execute functional and non-functional testing, including data validation, smoke, integration, and regression tests.
• Analyze test results, document defects, and recommend improvements to the testing lifecycle.
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to define testing needs and identify automation opportunities.
• Create and manage test data, supporting integrated testing and continuous improvement efforts.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with a focus on data testing.
• Proficiency in Python for data automation and complex SQL query writing.
• Extensive experience with ETL concepts, data migration testing, and data warehouse testing.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Notebooks, and Cosmos DB.
• Strong understanding of relational database models, XML data models, and BI reporting.
• Experience creating end-to-end CI/CD solutions using Azure DevOps and Docker.
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) in Agile and Waterfall environments.
• ISTQB Certification.

• Experience in the finance industry.
