Description

You will design and automate testing for big-data platforms and data pipelines.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop data automation, integration, and performance test scripts.
• Generate and manage large volumes of synthetic test data.
• Automate REST API testing using REST-Assured.
• Validate event-streaming workflows and distributed system behavior.
• Collaborate with engineering, data, and platform teams to ensure quality at scale.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience automating big-data platforms and data pipelines.
• Strong expertise in Data automation, Integration testing, and Performance testing.
• Hands-on experience with REST-Assured.
• Proficiency in Java and Groovy.
• Experience with Kafka and Spark.
• Knowledge of event-streaming architectures and SQL scripting.
• Experience with S3 or similar object storage.
• Working knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Experience with Spock, WebDriver, Appium, and/or Jira.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines for automated testing.
• Background testing high-throughput, near–real-time systems.
