Description

You will own quality engineering best practices, testing strategies, and automation frameworks across the engineering organization.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for functional, API, UI, integration, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, implement quality gates, and drive root-cause resolution for test failures.
• Validate enterprise application workflows, cloud-native applications in Microsoft Azure, and distributed system integrations.
• Evaluate AI output quality for chatbots, assistants, and RAG solutions, ensuring Responsible AI practices including fairness and transparency.
• Mentor QA engineers and developers on testing practices and participate in architecture and design reviews to identify quality risks early.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of software quality assurance experience with 5+ years of hands-on automated testing.
• Expertise in test automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or Puppeteer.
• Hands-on experience with C#, .NET, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or PowerShell.
• Experience with REST APIs, Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, automated API validation, and contract testing.
• Working knowledge of Azure services including App Services, Functions, AKS, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions, automated build/deployment pipelines, and quality gates.
• Knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, Azure OpenAI Service, and AI quality evaluation techniques.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

Preferred Skills

• ISTQB Advanced Certification or Certified Software Test Engineer (CSTE).
• Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204) certification.
• Experience testing AI-enabled business applications, distributed microservices, and containerized applications in Kubernetes.
