Senior Quality Engineer

You will lead testing efforts for back-office finance and accounting enterprise applications within an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive test strategies, including E2E, integration, and regression testing for web UI and APIs.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot automated test frameworks using Selenium and C# with the Page Object Model.
• Analyze user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure optimal test coverage and provide accurate effort estimates.
• Manage the defect lifecycle, perform root cause analysis, and participate in defect prioritization sessions.
• Review code and automated scripts from junior engineers to ensure adherence to automation standards and best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software testing, specifically with enterprise finance or accounting applications.
• Strong experience in Selenium-based Web UI automation.
• Proficiency in C# and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman or RestSharp.
• Ability to write and execute SQL queries for data manipulation and test validation.
• Experience using Azure DevOps for test and defect management.
• Proficiency with Git for distributed version control.
• Experience working within Scrum teams and participating in all Agile ceremonies.
• Proven ability to work independently or lead testing activities for a scrum team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience testing mobile and desktop applications.
