Description

You will own quality assurance for UI, API, and service layers through automation and strategic testing.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and test scripts for UI, APIs, and service layers using Playwright and Selenium.
• Execute smoke, integration, regression, and UAT testing, validating edge cases and error handling for transactional systems.
• Perform API testing with Postman/Newman and ensure automated suites run reliably within CI/CD pipelines.
• Document defects with clear severity, reproduction steps, and technical evidence to support debugging and resolution.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, providing quality-focused risk insights during PI planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in QA with manual and automated testing for APIs and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Selenium-based automated testing and Playwright automation for UI and end-to-end validation.
• Strong API testing skills using Postman and Newman, including building repeatable automated API test runs.
• Experience with BDD test automation using Cucumber, including a solid understanding of TDD/ATDD principles.
• Performance and reliability testing using JMeter, combined with SQL skills for data validation and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Java and JavaScript for test automation and basic backend validation.
• Familiarity with Git/SVN workflows and CI/CD test execution environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience owning test strategy across multiple environments and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Exposure to AI coding tools such as Cursor or GitHub Copilot for accelerating test development.
