Description

You will manage civil quality control and inspection activities for solar plant construction projects.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Review and confirm QA/QC plans and manuals for EPC contractors and manufacturers.
• Inspect inward materials, storage, handling, and all stages of construction execution.
• Supervise laboratory and field tests, including concrete raw material and hardened concrete testing.
• Issue Non-Conformity Reports (NCR) and manage root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions (CAPA).
• Maintain all QA documentation, including calibration reports, test reports, and design mix reports.

Required Skills

• 5-11 years of experience in Quality Management specifically within solar projects.
• Strong knowledge of IS and ASTM codes and standards for civil construction.
• Hands-on experience managing quality across multiple renewable energy projects.
• Proficiency in testing concrete (compressive strength, RBH, UPVT, Core cutter) and soil compaction.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and derive reinforcement quantities.
• Experience with batching plant calibration and concrete supply monitoring.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Skills

• Engineering degree, with a preference for Civil Engineering.
