Description

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement Quality Engineering strategies, processes, and best practices.
  • Design, develop, maintain, and enhance test automation frameworks.
  • Create automated test scripts using Selenium and other modern automation tools.
  • Develop and maintain Playwright automation for web applications.
  • Prepare test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and automation strategies.
  • Manage testing activities, defects, and project deliverables using Jira.
  • Maintain testing documentation, process guidelines, and project artifacts in Confluence.
  • Lead and coordinate onshore and offshore QA/QE teams.
  • Support functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, product owners, and project managers to identify and resolve quality risks.
  • Manage defect tracking, root-cause analysis, reporting, and resolution.
  • Support release planning, implementation, validation, and production deployment activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve testing processes, automation coverage, and delivery efficiency.
  • Explore and implement AI/GenAI-powered Quality Engineering tools and practices.

 

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, QA, Test Automation, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of QE methodologies, testing processes, and industry best practices.
  • Hands-on experience designing and maintaining test automation frameworks.
  • Strong coding and scripting skills with Selenium-based automation.
  • Practical experience with Playwright for modern web application testing.
  • Experience working with Jira and Confluence.
  • Proven experience leading onshore and offshore QA teams.
  • Strong Banking and Financial Services domain experience.
  • Knowledge of banking applications, business processes, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong understanding of test planning, execution, defect management, and release support.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, problem-solving, and risk-management abilities.
  • Ability to work onsite in Pennsylvania and support multiple client locations as required.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AI/GenAI-powered testing and Quality Engineering tools.
  • Knowledge of AI-assisted test case generation and automation optimization.
  • Experience using AI for defect analysis, test data creation, and test coverage improvement.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with API testing and automated regression testing.
  • Knowledge of quality metrics, dashboards, and continuous testing practices
