Description

You will develop and maintain high-availability, globally deployed systems for the FICC technology team, translating complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new features for the FICC data platform using KDB.
• Ensure seamless communication and project delivery with global teams in London, Dublin, Singapore, and the US.
• Participate in agile development processes to improve system functionality and performance.
• Translate business needs into effective technical solutions ensuring scalability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with KDB development.
• Proficiency in KDB/q with deep knowledge of internals (tp, rdb, hdb, tick data storage).
• Strong knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments.
• Scripting proficiency in Python, Perl, or Shell.
• Experience designing and developing ETL processes for data warehouses.
• Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Computer Science or relevant large-scale IT experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in high-availability globally deployed systems.
• Background in FICC or financial data platforms.
