Description

You will design, implement, and maintain high-availability RabbitMQ clusters across on-premise and AWS environments, owning the release pipeline and ensuring data security.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement RabbitMQ cluster configurations using automated blue-green deployment models.
• Troubleshoot performance, latency, and real-time issues in standalone and federated modes.
• Develop solutions to ensure PII, PCI, and PHI data is excluded from RabbitMQ log files.
• Execute migration paths from RabbitMQ to native AWS queuing services.
• Recommend queue types and implement best practices for queues, shovels, and federation policies.

Required Skills

• 8–10 years of technical experience with a focus on RabbitMQ implementation.
• Strong expertise in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting RabbitMQ.
• Hands-on experience with Linux OS and AWS network configurations.
• Proven ability to set up secure, highly available, and self-healing distributed systems.
• Deep understanding of software engineering design principles, patterns, and unit testing.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
• Analytical skills to identify root causes and eliminate recurring system problems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
