Description

You will resolve customer issues and enhance deployment templates through containerization and software development.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Execute moderately complex development activities to enhance deployment templates and resolve customer issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate containerization into the software development lifecycle.
• Optimize container performance and resource utilization while implementing security best practices.
• Partner with stakeholders to improve user experience and performance for on-prem deployments.
• Participate in planning, estimation sessions, and release testing.

Required Skills

• 6-10 years of experience with a Bachelors in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or MS with 5+ years of experience).
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Docker Compose, and/or Kubernetes.
• Strong proficiency in Linux operating systems.
• Practical experience with scripting and automation using Bash or Python.
• Solid understanding of networking, storage, and security within containerized environments.
• Proven experience with software design and development methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Docker or Kubernetes certifications.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and related patterns.
