Description

Lead technical research and complex software development for HFSS products, owning the full lifecycle from algorithm design to release testing.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Execute complex development activities involving software design, algorithm research, and user experience analysis.
• Conduct technical reviews and mentor team members to maintain engineering best practices.
• Perform bug verification, release testing, and beta support for assigned products.
• Research problems identified by QA or product support to develop and implement solutions.
• Analyze marketing requirements, including target environments and performance criteria, to inform product development.

Required Skills

• Extensive software development experience using C++ or a related language.
• Strong proficiency in data structures and algorithms.
• Deep understanding of object-oriented design.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience performing complex analysis and architectural planning.
• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field with 5 years of experience, or an MS with 3 years of experience.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with numerical methods, geometric algorithms, and finite element concepts.
• Experience delivering products in a large-scale commercial software environment.
• Knowledge of tools used in the electronics simulation domain.
