Lead software product development through advanced technical research, architecture, and complex problem-solving.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute architecture and research for complex software design and solver development.
• Perform complex development tasks including user experience analysis and system design.
• Maintain engineering standards via technical reviews, mentoring, and best practice implementation.
• Conduct bug verification, release testing, and beta support for assigned products.
• Analyze marketing requirements and performance criteria to develop technical solutions.

Required Skills

• Commercial experience in software design and implementation using C++ or other object-oriented languages.
• Strong C++ programming skills with experience in Windows and Linux development environments.
• Experience with API development and advanced numerical methods like FEM.
• HPC experience involving shared and distributed memory development.
• Knowledge of IPC methods such as sockets, pipes, and MPI protocols.
• Ability to work within large-scale commercial software development environments.
• BS in Computer Science or related field with 5 years of experience, MS with 3 years, or PhD with 1 year.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with strategic customers to assess needs and develop solutions.
• Ability to work collaboratively within geographically distributed teams.
