Description

You will design, implement, and maintain software modules and sub-systems throughout the full development lifecycle.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex software modules, ensuring robust user experience analysis and system architecture.
• Research and resolve technical issues identified by QA or product support teams.
• Execute bug verification, release testing, and provide beta support for assigned products.
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews to maintain engineering best practices.
• Document software designs and maintain technical specifications for sub-systems.

Required Skills

• 5-7 years of software development experience, or 3-5 years with an advanced degree.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, and/or C#.
• Hands-on experience with the Node.js platform.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Proven track record in technical software development via academic, research, or industry projects.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience delivering products in large-scale commercial software environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker, Linux, and High-Performance Computing (HPC).
• Experience developing client-server or cloud-based software.
