Description

Lead front-end development for digital banking products in an Agile environment, owning the full delivery lifecycle from requirements to release.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Partner with UX design, architecture, and back-end API teams to deliver customer experiences for online channels.
• Mentor junior developers and collaborate on technical solutions.
• Enforce secure coding standards through peer code reviews and automated testing.
• Review business requirements, design documents, and performance testing plans.
• Communicate technical recommendations and solutions to senior management.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software development.
• Expert-level JavaScript (ES6) and TypeScript.
• Expert-level React, with knowledge of Angular and Vue.js.
• Expert-level HTML5 and CSS3, including SASS preprocessors.
• Strong experience with responsive web design and cross-browser/device compliance.
• Proficiency with Git, Bitbucket, or GitLab and branching strategies.
• Experience consuming REST APIs using asynchronous methods.
• Experience with build tools such as Webpack, Grunt, or Gulp.
• Experience with AWS cloud services including S3, Lambda, and ElastiCache.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with state machines like XState to control UI flow.
• Experience with component testing frameworks such as Cypress.
