Lead the design and implementation of scalable frontend architectures and microservices.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop reusable UI components and define accessibility and governance standards across digital channels.
• Build applications focused on usability, cross-browser compatibility, web security, and markup standards.
• Provide design and architectural solutions to complex business problems.
• Lead and mentor development team members, directing senior developers through code reviews and improvement plans.
• Collaborate with teams using Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and Test Driven Development (TDD) to meet quality standards.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of UI development experience.
• Extensive experience with React frontend development.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js backend development.
• Experience building microservices via RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with structured databases including Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.
• Experience with DevOps and modern CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Knowledge of web security practices including XSRF and cross-site scripting defense.
• Understanding of last-mile performance optimization, including minification and closure tools.
