Lead front-end development and mentor junior UI engineers in Chicago.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Decompose UX designs into reusable component models.
• Build responsive web applications and Progressive Web Applications (PWA).
• Implement secure development practices including SAML, OAuth, and authentication protocols.
• Integrate high-performance charting libraries and collaborate on full-stack requirements.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of IT experience with front-end leadership focus.
• Expertise in ReactJS, Redux, HTML5, CSS3, and CSS pre-processing.
• Strong JavaScript proficiency with Node.js and Java.
• Experience with REST APIs and version control (Git or BitBucket).
• Hands-on experience with Highcharts or equivalent charting libraries.
• Knowledge of Oracle database concepts, specifically SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience with Azure cloud technologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (JUnit, Mocha, or Jasmine).

Preferred Skills

• Experience in financial services, banking, or investment management domains.
