Description

You will manage and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments to ensure system stability and operational efficiency. You will own the release pipeline and daily operations for RHEL platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage RHEL 7.x, 8.x, and 9.x platform administration, including installation and configuration.
• Execute server patching, platform updates, and software deployments.
• Develop Ansible Playbooks to automate administrative tasks and improve operational efficiencies.
• Perform daily operations support, including problem isolation, troubleshooting, and resolution of platform or application issues.
• Document technical processes, procedures, and system configurations.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of relevant experience with a BS degree, or 6+ years with a Masters degree.
• Expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration.
• Experience with Ansible Playbook development.
• Proficiency in system administration and server patching/upgrading.
• Experience with AWS Cloud.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for platform and application issues.
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Delivery and deployment workflows.
• Ability to work 100% onsite in Baltimore, MD.

Preferred Skills

• Experience acting as a platform technical lead for application teams and stakeholders.
